1. Mukesh Ambani invested app 1,50,000 crores in jio

This is probably the highest investment by a company for its start up.



2.  Jio is not its actual name

The company was formerly known as Infotel Broadband Services Limited and changed its name to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited in January 2013.

3. Jio  is only a 4 G network.

Jio is a 4G only network which means they don't have necessary hardwar for 2G and 3G signals.


4.Jio Created record with 50 million users in 83 days.

Airtel took around 12 years and Vodafone around 13 years, took just 83 days for Reliance Jio! We say this as Jio took just 83 days to get 50 million subscribers. Jio continues to be the country's fastest growing telcom in India as well as the world..it had added 1,000 users to its network every minute ever since its launch.


5.  Average number of new Reliance Jio users per day is 5000,000!!!


6.The ECO-FRIENDLY Towers.

They have erected mobile towers that looks like trees. So, they blend into the surrounding helping it maintain the beauty.
