 yes, it can be sad to move from number one to three right! In the ancient Roman calendars, the year was only for 10 months, beginning from March and ending in December.
2. Named after the God of War.

Since know we know an interesting March fact that it was discovered by the Romans, the name was also given by them. The name ‘March’ comes from the Roman God of war – Mars. This is because this was the month where the military campaigns usually begun.


3.The most unproductive Month.

As per U.S statistics, it is known that this month is one of the most unproductive month of the year. It is the season of NBA, and that is why, most of the workers are distracted.




4. The mid-month sees the first full moon.

As per Romans, every mid-month is known as the ides of the month. The 15th of March usually records the first ever full moon of the year. While some consider this lucky, it may be a bad superstition too.

5. UK Prime Ministers seem to love this month.

This is one of the most interesting March facts. It has been noted that, majority of the UK Prime ministers of the 20th Century seem to have their birthdays in this month.
