1. The First Mobile Phone Call Was Made in 1973

Martin Cooper placed the first mobile phone call to Dr. Joel Engel during an experiment at Bell Labs in April, 1973. the call was made with a Motorola Dyan TAC, which was the first mobile phone ever created.

in August 1994, IBM's Simon is credited as being the first ever smartphone.the smartphone is only 22 years old.
